The illustrious Cominelli family was from Salò. They built their country villa towards the middle of the seventeenth century, in the wonderful small center of Cisano village.

The elegant eighteenth-century building has recently been restored thanks to the will of Raffaele Cominelli, who with great philanthropic spirit, created the Foundation in his own name after his death.

The Raffaele Cominelli Foundation has as its purpose the conservation of  Valtenesi Culture and the collection of paintings by Leonardi Cominelli, painter and poet who lived between 1642 and 1703.
